Today felt kind of odd going to Frank's Sunny Italy.
First when we walked in the door, it was already open, therefore I already knew to expect many flying insects in the restaurant.
It took a few minutes before anyone even came out to seat us. No one knew we were there waiting.
It was quiet except for this one girl who was sitting across the seats, leaning up against the wall by the windows, talking exceptionally loud for a restaurant and acting like it's a simple cafe or a McDonald's or something.
Our waitress was very nice & quick with taking our drink order.
She brought them right away & took our food order.
(Although the menu does NOT say it, if you order any of the dinners at the top of the right page, you get a side of either linguini, angel hair pasta, ziti or spaghetti )
My 2 kids and I ordered Chicken Parmesan. I got Ziti & they both got spaghetti. (According to their menu, spaghetti is spelled "spahetti". Lol)
My fiancé got Fettuccini Alfredo w/Chicken.
The waitress brought out fresh bread with butter. YUMMMMM (I am totally a fresh Italian bread girl)
Then our dinners came !
Holy Crap Batman, the Plates were hot & full !!
I didn't get a pic of the Fettuccini, but damn his plate was fully loaded !
Everything was delicious & filling.
None of us finished, which is a first for me & my son Jeremy.
I asked our waitress about desserts & wow, what a list.
Everything sounded sooooo good, but, I didn't end up getting anything, although I should have.
The prices weren't bad for the amount of food & the deliciousness of it all.
Definitely will go back, even if just for some cannoli, fried dough, spumoni or any of the many other things she listed. -

Used to come here all the time when I was a kid and the food was amazing. In the last few years however it has drastically gone down the tubes.
Last time I was in there we ordered a deep dish pizza and they forgot it was in the oven and burnt it. The server didn't come and tell us until she was bring out the second pizza and after we waited for an hour. She didn't even come back to see if we wanted refills on our drinks. It was nice of them to comp the pizza but the service was so bad and the pizza was not good at all.
Unfortunately I will more than likely not come back. -

I really enjoyed my meal at Frank's Sunny Italy, a few months back. I really am a huge fan of their garlic bread, which is absolutely phenomenal, I also enjoy their spaghetti, and their salad is also quite delicious. The customer service is really good, and you get large portions for the amount that you pay, definitely worth a try.

If you're looking for massive portions and lots of options, this is the place for you. The restaurant is really big and the staff were all really friendly. The menu has tons of cheesy options. They give you nice warm bread and butter as well. I went with the artichoke pasta. It was delicious and I can't stress how much pasta they gave me. It was like 2 pounds of pasta per serving. Overall, I'm pleased with my experience here.

Delicious ! I love veal margarita and have been on a quest to find it somewhere as good as my favorite (closed ) la-Castelana's and i think i found it! They serve large portions of delicious food. The veal was very tender with plenty of ham, eggplant, cheese and a very good wine sauce. It came with a side salad and choice of pasta. The red sauce was a sweet delicious thick and stayed on the ziti. Everyone was very happy with their dinners too. It is a good size, clean, old neighborhood restaurant with friendly service . An older couple i assume were the owner greet you on the way in and thank you on the way out, nice touch! Will return with my sons and daughter in-law who also love veal margarita and let you know if they concur.
